Serving Dallas, Georgia
Fast, safe tree removal for Dallas homeowners.
Close to Douglasville
Dallas, the Paulding County seat, has grown quickly along the GA-92 corridor connecting it to Douglasville — newer family subdivisions on the west side of town sit alongside older streets closer to the historic downtown square.
Dallas is about 16 miles north of Douglasville, by GA-92 to Hiram and US-278 from there. It is the Paulding County seat, with 14,042 residents in the 2020 Census, and its Civil War past sits close to downtown: the Battle of Dallas was fought there in 1864, the same week as the battles of New Hope Church and Pickett's Mill. Pumpkinvine Creek, the area's largest stream, flows on to the Etowah River.

Trees & Weather
The newer subdivisions on the west side of Dallas kept many of the tall loblolly pines that stood when the lots were laid out. Tall pines in a yard catch every summer gust, and when Zeta crossed Georgia on October 29, 2020, Georgia Power reported outages for more than 500,000 customers statewide. Pines also draw southern pine beetle, and the Georgia Forestry Commission lists loblolly among the three pines it attacks most readily.
Dallas work tends to be pines leaning over newer houses, storm limbs on a roof, and dead trees along a back property line next to the woods. Older lots near the downtown square have bigger oaks with more deadwood to clear. The Silver Comet Trail runs through Paulding County too, and a lot that backs onto it needs the same careful drop zones as one beside a fence. The stump can usually be ground on the same visit as the removal.
Permits
The City of Dallas code we read has no permit for removing a tree on a private lot; its tree rules cover street and park trees only. We couldn't verify Paulding County's own rules for addresses outside the city, so for a lot in the unincorporated county we confirm with the county before any clearing. Subdivision covenants are a separate layer: if your neighborhood has an HOA, it may want to approve a removal first.
A lot of our Dallas jobs come from the newer subdivisions along the Highway 92 corridor toward Douglasville, so we know the typical lot layouts and access patterns in that stretch of town.
Paulding’s newer subdivisions kept a lot of the tall loblolly pines the builders left standing, and those are the trees that go over in a summer storm — we check them for lean, root heave, and old damage before anything else.
